Each cottage is well-equipped and furnished and has a woodburner, making them a superb all year round base for a holiday in this beautiful area. A variety of birds and red squirrels are regular garden visitors. Easy road access to the quieter western lakes and fells, Ennerdale Water 2 miles. Cumbrian Coast 10 miles. Walking, cycling, climbing and riding locally. Free fishing in season by arrangement. Cockermouth and the Georgian port of Whitehaven, both 10 miles.
